Then one of my friends, at my request, took hold of my prisoner, and the drunken justice made a pass at me; but I parried the stroke, and seized him by the collar and the hair of the head, and fetching him a sudden jerk forward, brought him to the ground, and jumped on him.
The Jensen’s Journey
#29- Whose necks? - "Hi, Mom. We've been missing you but Dad fixed a pretty good supper last night, uh, even though it wasn't as good as your cooking."
"I'll second that," Mr. Jensen agreed.
"Where's Joshua, Mom? Can we see him?" Julie asked.
"Look right behind you."
#28- Final Pay - "Have you decided on a name yet?"
"Yup. Guess what we chose."
"Well, it has to start with a 'J' so how about Jamie?" Jason suggested.
"I like Jeffery," Julie added.
"Those are good names but we decided on a Bible name like yours.
#27- Second Best? - "What's up, Dad?" Jason asked, "And where's Mom?"
"Both of you sit down and listen carefully. It looks like this is going to be the day we have been waiting for and I need to give you some instructions."
#26- Growing Pains - "So," Mr. Jensen mused, "it appears we have a baby who is not taking nourishment properly. What is the mother going to do about it?"
Julie grinned slightly, and then sighed. "I don't know. I wish she didn't live so far away. Any suggestions?"
#25- Bearing a Baby - Mr. Jensen grinned. "So, we have a new baby in the family."
Julie's eyes grew as big as saucers. "Daddy! Why didn't you tell us?! Is it a boy or a girl? How big is she? How is mother?" and Jason added, "Isn't it early?"
#24- MYSTERY AT SANDY BEACH (4-end) - "I..I'm afraid I'm not as loving as you really think I am. Wednesday morning I..I looked in your suitcase and found the necklace. I prayed you would give it back but the Lord had to teach me that you were more important than the necklace. I'm sorry."
#23- MYSTERY AT SANDY BEACH (3) - "I was thinking about the necklace in chapel too, only I was thinking about you. I was wondering if you were going to make that necklace more important than seeing Karen saved."
#22-MYSTERY AT SANDY BEACH (2) - "When I woke up this morning I saw Karen looking in your stuff under the bed. I didn't actually see her with the necklace but it didn't look good. Know what I mean?"
#21- MYSTERY AT SANDY BEACH (I) - By the time she returned, everyone was up and getting ready for the Sunday church service. Julie put on her nicest dress and brushed her hair one final time. Then she sat on the bed, and picked up her shoe. The necklace wasn't there. She checked the other shoe. The necklace was gone!
#20- Stick to it! - "Uh, Jason, I noticed that you only got the front lawn mowed."
"Yeah, Dad, I was going to tell you about that. It . . . it took a little longer packing than I thought and I didn't get started on the lawn until after four."
#19- Healing Stripes - The next morning Julie walked slowly up the walk to the school. Her commitment the night before seemed foggy now and she was scared what she would say to Karen.
